Further work on Williams Review

The delayed Williams Review, initially due in autumn 2019, needs further work to reflect the effect of COVID-19, Rail Minister Chris Heaton-Harris said in a Commons Written Reply to Charlotte Nichols (Labour, Warrington North) on November 13.

“The Government views the purpose of the reforms as important as ever. The Government will publish a White Paper with details on the Government’s plans for rail reform once the course of the pandemic becomes clearer,” he wrote.
