AWC lifts Friday peak restrictions

Friday morning peak restrictions on long-distance journeys were lifted by Avanti West Coast from November 20, in a trial lasting into 2021.

Passengers can use Off

Peak and Advance tickets throughout the day. AWC said passengers could save on average around 50%-60%, with a standard single from Manchester Piccadilly-London Euston costing no more than £64.40, and as little as £25.

Afternoon peak restrictions on Fridays had already been removed.
