Clacton signalling enters final phase

A major resignalling scheme around Clacton-on-Sea enters its final phase from February 20, with an intensive engineering programme.

Overhead line equipment will be altered, and the track layout around Clacton remodelled with powered switches and crossings.

When works are completed on March 14, signalling will be controlled from the power signal box at Colchester.
