TfW leads on free travel for refugees

Transport for Wales 175109 approaches Hereford on March 5. Wales First Minister Mark Drakeford announced 12 days later that refugees fleeing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine can now travel for free on all TfW services for the next six months, while they settle into Wales. This was followed on March 18 by confirmation that all of Britain’s operators will now be providing free travel to Ukrainian nationals who are in possession of a passport and a boarding pass showing arrival in the UK.
