WiFi boosted at London Waterloo

Network Rail has rolled out free and unlimited WiFi at London Waterloo.

Passengers can also take advantage of internet speeds that are fast enough to support video calls and streaming.

To demonstrate the strength of the signal, NR hosted an Xbox gaming night on March 31, when passengers and passers-by competed against members of the public at Glasgow Central to win Xbox prizes. Live footage of each player on the Forza motorsport game was streamed via webcam.

Other stations due to receive the new WiFi include Birmingham New Street, Bristol Temple Meads, Edinburgh Waverley, Leeds, Manchester Piccadilly, and most London termini.
