Super Off-Peak withdrawn

I use Avanti West Coast services from Birmingham New Street to Euston for occasional leisure trips.

By chance, I discovered that since the fare rises at the beginning of March, Avanti has discontinued its Super Off-Peak return tickets from all stations on the BirminghamEuston route.

Instead of the time-limited but often useful Super Off-Peak £38 fare, the only option is an ordinary Off-Peak £62 from New Street. In view of trying to encourage people back onto the trains this is surely counter-productive.
