View Very Light Rail Conference
The UK’s second Very Light Rail Conference takes place on June 16, at the Black Country and Marches Institute of Technology in Dudley.
The venue neighbours the new £32 million VLR National Innovation Centre, which was funded by two Local Enterprise Partnerships and the European Regional Development Fund. The centre opens later this year, although the test track is already open for vehicle testing.
Conference delegates will here from keynote speakers including West Midlands Mayor Andy Street and Transport Minister Baroness Vere of Norbiton.
While physical attendance is limited, the event is also being live streamed to a virtual audience. To register, visit: bcimo. co.uk/events/vlr-conference
