‘92’ named as a thanks to RHT

Caledonian Sleeper and GB Railfreight named a Class 92 in honour of the Railway Heritage Trust on May 11. The Anglo-Scottish operator described the move as a “token of thanks” for supporting a major restoration of 1848-built listed buildings at Perth station. Present for the naming of 92033 were (left to right) Railway Heritage Trust Deputy Chairman Andy Savage MBE, Serco’s MD for Caledonian Sleeper Kathryn Darbandi, RHT Patron Lady Judy McAlpine, and GBRf CEO John Smith.
