First train to Barking Riverside

On May 24, 710272 climbs the flyover to cross the Tilbury Loop Line between Barking and Dagenham Dock. Forming a test train from Willesden, it was the first ever train to run to the new station at Barking Riverside via a 4.5km (2.8-mile) extension of London Overground’s Gospel Oak-Barking route which is due to open in the autumn.
