View video on EMR’s Auroras

East Midlands Railway has released a documentary on the ongoing project to build its new Aurora inter-city fleet.

Filmmakers go behind the scenes at Hitachi’s Newton Aycliffe factory, where the 33 five-car Class 810s are being built.

The documentary features interviews with Hitachi engineers, while staff at EMR talk about how the operator is preparing to run the new bi-mode trains, including investment in Derby Etches Park depot.
