Virgin Red launches new booking app

Virgin Train Ticketing, Virgin Red’s rail ticket booking platform, has introduced a new app for anyone booking train journeys in England, Scotland and Wales.

VTT has already operated for more than a year as part of Virgin Red, Virgin’s group-wide rewards club, but it now allows nonmembers to book train travel with VTT.

When booking with VTT,

registered users will be rewarded with three Virgin Points for every £1 spent on any train journey in Britain. There are no booking fees on e-tickets and they can be downloaded to a smart phone or Apple Wallet.

The points can be redeemed towards hundreds of items from Virgin Red’s rewards club. Customers can also donate their points to charity.
