CrossCountry catering

There have been some rumours that CrossCountry is giving up its trolley service in Standard Class.

Certainly, I knew of some catering staff who have left XC, so I asked its corporate affairs department if they would comment.

I received this positive reply: “‘Catering remains an important part of the onboard experience. Some catering colleagues left under their own volition as part of the Voluntary Severance Scheme, which is distinctly different from redundancy. We have experienced some attrition but are recruiting to fill these posts.”
