Full Night Tube service resumes

-

Full night running resumed on the London Underground on July 29 for the first time since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The suspension of RMT strike action planned until December

4 has allowed services on the Piccadilly Line to restart, opening up journeys to Heathrow Airport.

It follows the opening of the Central and Victoria lines (last November), and Jubilee and Northern (May and June). All stations will be staffed, and British Transport Police officers will be out in force.

Weekday ridership on the Tube network has grown to 70% of pre-COVID levels, and to 85% at weekends.
