Software to keep Greater Anglia trains moving

Greater Anglia aims to reduce delays caused by faulty trains, with ‘decision support’ software that guides technicians when drivers report problems.

It comes from IQM Software and works in conjunction with information from GA and Stadler, the company which built GA’s bi-mode trains that work Stansted, inter-city and regional services. By asking questions about the problem, the software then identifies the best actions to get the train moving again.
