HNRC shifts its Leicester Class 47
Harry Needle Railroad Company’s 47847, which the company bought from Rail Operations Group in 2020 along with 47843, has finally been collected from Leicester Depot.
It was collected by GB Railfreight 47727 Edinburgh Castle/Caisteal Dhùnin and 47749
City of Truro on August 10.
HNRC still has 47843 to collect from Leicester, and this is expected to move soon. Both ‘47s’ have not worked for over six years, with 47843 stopped in April 2016 a month after 47847, when both were owned by Riviera Trains.
