Glasgow bridge repairs under way
It will take a year and cost £3.8 million to carry out essential repairs to the lattice girder Saltmarket Bridge, on the south-western edge of Glasgow City Centre.
Work started on August 15 on the wrought iron structure, which crosses the A8 road near Glasgow Cross.
It gives access to Shields Road maintenance depot, as well as acting as a diversionary route for freight.
