Improve your wellbeing: register now for free industry event

-

Registration has opened for the rail industry’s largest free wellbeing event.

Rail Wellbeing Live will return as a two-day online event on November 2-3.

This year, musician Professor Green, TV personality Gail Porter, war veteran Simon Weston CBE and author Tracey Cox are among more than 60 speakers who will appear in 50 different sessions.

The content has four themes covering:

Inspirational health and wellbeing talks to support your own wellbeing journey.

Sessions for managers and leaders to set the foundations for a healthy workplace.

Practical sessions to learn how to improve your physical and mental health.

Interactive sessions featuring desk and chair yoga, dance aerobics, pilates and boxing.

Rail Wellbeing Alliance Chairman and Network Rail Southern Region MD John Halsall said: “The aim of the two days isn’t to say to go to the gym three hours a day, but more if you dial this up and dial that down, you will be happier.

“As well as the impact on the individual, it also saves the organisation a lot of money as sickness costs businesses a fortune, so why not invest in health and wellbeing and stop those things from occurring?”

Anyone who registers for the event (at www.rwl22.co.uk) before September 30 will be entered into a prize draw and given the opportunity to nominate a colleague for a Wellbeing Heroes Award.

All content will be live-streamed and available to those who have registered for two weeks after the event.
