Another London-Brighton route?
Reinstatement of the Horsted Keynes-Haywards Heath spur would create a new through route from London to Brighton - albeit perhaps only for emergencies.
While it is not on anyone’s agenda to have diverted commuter expresses sharing the Bluebell Railway platforms with steam, it would be technically possible to do so.
