Arch removed at Pipewell on MML

A reduced service operated on the Midland Main Line on September 10-11, while Network Rail removed the central arch from Pipewell road bridge (between Kettering and Market Harborough).

The project to raise the span forms part of the extension of electrification from Kettering to Wigston. Construction of a new bridge deck is planned to be completed by early December.
