Motherwell redevelopment gathers pace
Work to redevelop and expand Motherwell station has entered a new stage, with the laying of the foundations of a new expanded concourse. The steel structure for the new larger station building also continues to be erected, as part of the £14.5 million project. North Lanarkshire Council is carrying out work to overhaul the public realm outside the station, to create an expanded bus station, new access road, car drop-off area and improved taxi, pedestrian and cycle access.
