Short Chiltern trains

Chiltern is not only running short trains from Aylesbury to Marylebone (RAIL 964).

It is also running two-carriage trains from Birmingham to Marylebone, with standing passengers from Birmingham. I have travelled on two of them in the last three weeks.

It’s difficult for parents with young children, meaning that strikes won’t be the only factor in discouraging passengers to return.
