October 24 the big day at Bond Street

The Elizabeth line station at Bond Street will open on October

24, Transport for London has confirmed.

It will be the final station to open on the route, and follows the entry into service of the rest of the Elizabeth line’s central section in May.

The station is expected to handle nearly 140,000 Elizabeth line passengers per day, contributing to an overall capacity at Bond Street of 225,000 across the Jubilee, Central and Elizabeth lines.

It will be served by one Elizabeth line service every five minutes until November 6, when frequency will increase to every three to four minutes, seven days a week.
