Extension popular on Northern Line

More than five million journeys have been made on the Northern Line Extension since it opened on September 20 2021.

Transport for London reports that the two NLE stations at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms record weekly journeys of 80,000 and 40,000, respectively.

Key destinations include Bank, London Bridge and Waterloo with analysis showing an average journey time reduction of 17 minutes between the area and the City and West End.
