Old and new join forces for GBRf

GB Railfreight’s oldest and newest examples of main line locomotives quadruple-head together on September 16 to form the 0920 Tonbridge West Yard-Tonbridge West Yard driver training circuit, which looped around the county of Kent via Margate and Orpington. Veterans 73119 and 73213 lead new 69006 and 69005 hauling an equally unusual load (for the far South East) of ten empty container flats behind them. With the latter pair possibly set to replace the former, the locomotives pass Knockholt.
