GTR awarded equality standard

Govia Thameslink Railway has become the first transport sector company to achieve the UK's National Equality Standard.

Launched in 2013, the standard was developed by Ernst & Young UK LLP and sets robust equality, diversity and inclusion criteria against which companies are assessed.

GTR's diversity and inclusion policies were assessed against some 35 competencies contained within the NES framework.
