Barrhead ‘box closes

Barrhead signal box closed on October 31, with the area now controlled from a new panel at the West of Scotland signalling centre. The recontrol forms part of the electrification of the route between Glasgow and Barrhead, due for completion by December 2023. On September 13, ScotRail 156436/437 arrive at Barrhead with the 0859 from Glasgow Central.
