Merseyrail ‘777’ test runs begin

The introduction of new Stadler Class 777 trains on Merseyrail is now only weeks away, with timetable reductions made on the Liverpool-Kirkby line to provide track paths for test running and crew training.

Since November 14, weekday service frequencies have been cut from four trains an hour to three between 0700 and 1900. Weekend trains are unchanged.
