RAILWAYANA AUCTIONS UK’s email/telephone sale ran between October 30 and November 2. The nameplate from Class 52 D1002 Western Invader was the most expensive item at £16,200, while GWR Hall Class 4986 Aston Hall raised £10,100. Somebody took the chance to acquire a rare Class 44 nameplate in the shape of Tryfan from 44010.
