Bluebell wins sponsorship deal

-

THE BLUEBELL Railway has landed a sponsorship deal with the makers of Peek metal polish. Loco cleaner Andy Taylor contacted the Tri-Peek company to explain the railway’s preference for the Peek polish product, which it had been using for a number of months. Robert Peek, owner of the company, initially supplied the Bluebell Railway’s loco department with a large quantity of Peek for free and has now agreed to provide a year’s supply in return for the railway stocking smaller-sized tubes in its shop.

Andy Taylor said: “We are in difficult times and companies want to help the Bluebell Railway. To a company like Tri Peek this was a small gift, but for the loco department it has been a massive help.”
