ALREADY IN DB red, 66150 has become the latest of the company’s locos to gain a promotional slogan, it now sporting white ‘We are the future’ lettering. Applied at Toton during December, the loco has been experimentally converted to run on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO).

Also with new adornments is London Northwestern’s 350108 with DMS 63718 being wrapped in predominately black and white vinyls to promote the ‘You vs Train’ anti-trespass campaign, one side having blue highlights and the other red. The other three cars of the set remain in unbranded pale grey with green doors, giving a rather curious look to the Desiro. Staying on the West Coast, 390122 is amongst the latest Pendolinos to gain Avanti branding on the driving cars, bringing an end to its face mask vinyls.
