Final Intermodal for Class 86/6s
Freightliner’s final Class 86/6-hauled intermodal ran on February 5 when 86613 and 86632 hauled the 4M45 from Felixstowe to Garston as far as Crewe. The pair passes Chorlton as the train slows before entering Basford Hall at Crewe. As of mid-February, 86613 was practically out of hours, while 86632 was being used on the Crewe-Northampton training circuit to use up its remaining hours.
