Livery Changes

-

FOLLOWING THEIR sale to West Coast, the Rail Operations Group Class 47s have been stripped of their vinyls. In the case of 47813 and 47815, this has meant the loss of their bodyside graphics and ‘Thank

You NHS’ logos while 47848, which still retains Riviera Trains Oxford blue, has also lost the latter tribute. More extreme is 47812, which has been completely stripped of its full-body black vinyls to reveal the underlying and pristine blue livery.

Amongst the units, 387105 has finally been stripped of its red Gatwick Express adornments at Hornsey, almost a year after its loan spell with Southern came to an end.
