Tyseley’s 70th pushed back

TYSELEY LOCOMOTIVE Works’ annual Open Weekend has been pushed back from June 26/27 to October 23/24, due to COVID-19. It will be the only opportunity this year to visit the site, which is normally closed to the public. The event will host at least four locos in steam: GWR Castles 4-6-0s 7029 Clun Castle and 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, LMS 4-6-2 6233 Duchess of Sutherland and GWR pannier 7752. And it will have full supporting attractions.

The annual steam extravaganza for 2021 will also include a 70th Anniversary of Volunteering party to mark the preservation movement’s achievements.
