Locomotive Intercity Ltd HST power cars

Power Cars 43058 and 43059 both entered service in August 1977 as part of Eastern Region HST set 254002. Both were subsequently transferred onto the Midland Main Line and were latterly in service with East Midlands Railways, before being sent off-lease and subsequently sold to Locomotive Services Ltd subsidiary company Locomotive Intercity Ltd.

The company also owns 43046 and 43055, which are usually dedicated to the Midland Pullman charter services, as well as 43047, 43049 and 43083.

43049 was used on July 18 to take 43046 to Neville Hill for maintenance work, whilst 43047 and 43083 have yet to be used by their new owner.
