Ravenglass marks 60th

Restored in 2018 and only used during special occasions, one of the stars of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway’s 60th anniversary gala was 1896-built Heywood 0-4-0 Katie, which spent three years on the line from 1916. It crosses Whillan Beck with a train for Ravenglass on July 10. Matt Ditch
