Sunrise on the Forth on July 30, 2019.

Scotland is a place close to my heart, with beautiful scenery and the odd magnificent bridge!

I was staying local to the Forth Bridge for a few days during July 2019. So close that I could see it from my bedroom window.

As an early riser, and with favourable weather, I would go out for an early morning walk with hardly a soul around. On this particular morning, a glorious sunrise was just under the horizon creating a beautiful burnt sky, as the Aberdeen-bound Caledonian Sleeper passed, hauled by an unidentified Class 73.
