Meteor Power

The stripped out shell of 08649 was collected from Meteor Power’s Silverstone workshop at the start of September and can now be found at Dudley along with 37207.

Both are stabled outside the under construction Very Light Rail Innovation Centre, where their conversions to hybrid locos will be completed. For the moment though, 08649 is devoid of most internal components with its bonnet roof and all doors removed, while the cab interior is also dismantled.
