Nightstar generator hire ends

The nine-month residency of former Nightstar generator coach 96371 at Polmadie came to an end in August with 66746 hauling it away to the PD Stirling terminal at Mossend on the 19th. From here, it was loaded onto road transport and returned to Great Yarmouth the following week. The coach had been on hire to Caledonian Sleeper from Eastern Rail Services for static use with the Mk5 stock.

The third week of September saw yet more coaches arrive at the East Anglia resort with former Chiltern Mk3s 12017 and 12036 from the Banbury commuter set brought in by road from Long Marston while Mk2f RFO 1213 was similarly transferred from the Dartmoor Railway.
