ROG Mk3 adventures
A notable use for four of the Mk3 coaches operated by the Rail Operations Group came on September 2 when 12125, 12154, 12176 and 12180 were employed as brake force runners on the transfer of 769936 from Burton Wetmore to Wolverton. Powered by 57310, Mk1 translators ADB975875 and ADB977087 were also used to couple to the Class 769. On September 10/11, 12125 and 12154 were in more conventional action when employed on Derby to Barrow Hill shuttles with 10249, 10406 and 11101. The occasion was a real ale festival at the roundhouse with 37510 and 57312 as power on the first day with the Type 3 then swapped for 37601.
