Wessex sets disposed of from Wolverton to Sims, Newport, by road in the second half of August and during September were 442408, 442410, 442415, 442417, the four trailer cars of 442418 and MBS 62958, which was the last-surviving part of 442420. Meanwhile, scrapped at Eastleigh Works by Raxstar during September were 77386 and 77410 from 442405 and 77405 and 77429 from 442424.
