More stock for Churnet Valley Railway

Valley Railway has secured another Mk.1 for use on its future services to Leek, this being CK 15663 from Peak Rail.

Largely unrestored and still partly in BR blue/grey, it will require a full overhaul before it can be used and is currently stored away from the railway to await its turn in the workshop.

A further £7500 is sought in donations to help cover the cost of purchasing two more Mk.1s that are available but in need of attention. Donations can be made at www. totalgiving.co.uk/appeal/cvr_coaches
