More Mk.1s coaches are on the move in Somerset
MK.1 BSK 34527 was returned to the Somerset and Dorset Railway at the end of November following the fitting of a new steam heating system by Cranmore Traincare and Maintenance Services.
Away from Midsomer Norton for just under two months, the original pipework had been removed when it was converted to breakdown train coach ADB975470.
Also moved around the same time was the Somerset and Dorset Railway Trust’s Mk.1 BG 80972, which has transferred from the West Somerset Railway to the Mid-hants Railway as part of the relocation of the group.
