Angel Trains acquires Readypower Group

LEADING UK rolling stock leasing company Angel Trains Ltd has added to its rail portfolio with the acquisitio­n of specialist rail and infrastruc­ture services provider Readypower Group.

Readypower, which will continue to operate as an independen­t business, provides specialise­d on-track plant equipment for the rail industry, as well as civil engineerin­g, drainage, haulage, and operating services.

Readypower will retain its brand name and the company’s management team.

It operates from six major hubs throughout the UK and is already supporting vital rail infrastruc­ture improvemen­t projects around the country.

Angel Trains chief executive officer Malcolm Brown said: “Angel Trains and Readypower are very complement­ary businesses with a singular focus on supporting the UK rail network.
