Raffle is organised to aid HTG’S 37714 turbo overhaul

Tractor Group, owner of 37714 Cardiff Canton on the Great Central Railway, is holding a raffle to raise funds towards the overhaul of the Class 37’s turbos, with some great prizes on offer for the winners.

First prize in the raffle is a visit to Basford Hall Yard and a cab ride in a Class 47, while second prize is a visit to Loram UK’S facility at Derby. Third prize is a cab ride in a Class 50 at the Severn Valley Railway, fourth is a cab ride in 37714 at the GCR, and the fifth is a headcode panel from a Class 37 – with more prizes still to be announced. The winners will be picked on April 2. Tickets are priced £5 each and are available through the HTG’S online shop at www.heavytractorgroup.org
