As the number of Class 37s employed by DRS continues to dwindle in number, 37558 Avro Vulcan XH558 (37424) and 37422 Victorious top-and-tail five ballast hoppers that had developed a brake fault the previous day on March 1. The train is 6Z10, the 10.40 Hellifield to Carlisle Yard working, seen at Garsdale Troughs. 37422 has received new traction motors and this was an opportunity to give both locomotives a loaded test run.
