Jamaican fare, and this recipe and way of cooking has been passed down the generation­s. I watched my mum and nan cook dishes like this, and their houses were always full of people, music and, of course, the amazing sights and smells of Jamaican cooking. I was always curious about food and learned to cook things like rice and peas, yams and cornmeal porridge, as well as this curry goat dish which we serve in the restaurant today.
