THIS MONTH
we’ve been reading the excellent Triumph Trident restoration manual by Chris Rooke; literary Scandi crime in Stockholm Noir ( just in case we were having too much fun); Return To The Dirt (three brilliantly bitter-bleak novellas), and Frank’s next novel which is now at the tricky ‘betareading’ stage…
MEANWHILE AT THE MOVIES
we were appalled by how utterly awful The Wild Bunch really is; thoroughly relished Repo Men (Jude Law as a futuristic action hero: who’da thought?); couldn’t hear a blummen word Robert Downey Jr was saying in Iron Man, and really seriously got wrapped up in the Romanzo Criminale boxset (Freddo! No! Don’t do it!)
