ENFIELDS A-PLENTY
The sporty Continental GT (as seen elsewhere this issue) is very fashionable right now, which inevitably pushes up the price. However, it’s worth checking the large auctions for bikes like these in the early lots: there’s one listed for sale in late March at an H&H sale with no reserve and a big stack of spares. It’s been stored for quite a while but doesn’t appear to need much work to get it back into action.
This 1965 GT pictured here starts and stops ‘as it should’ according to the vendor, and hasn’t seen much use since its restoration in the mid-1990s. It cleaned up well, and sold quite quickly last winter.
