AND FINALLY…

Someone somewhere loved this bike which started life as a police patrol Triumph Thunderbird from 1954 or so. The original petrol tank, fairing, panniers and many spares were safely stored when it was converted to its café racer incarnation, and the T-bird was in regular use until it was laid up in 2019. In this format it might not appeal to everyone – but the people who bid on it at auction in December understood that this is a cheap way to acquire a pre-unit 650 Triumph engine…
