A CLASSIC ISSUE
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed RC207, particularly Alan Cathcart's piece on the Triumph Silent Scout, the Honda brake piece by Andy Hart and the description of the De Dion Bouton surface evaporation carburettor by Jacqueline Bickerstaff. We had much fun with one of those in my now far off days at Shuttleworth which was fitted to a Marot Gardon quadricycle of 1900. We found a substance called Hexane worked best. In this photo, my dearest friend Tim King and I are starting the Marot Gardon PLF (Pedal Like F***). Tim is frantically pedalling as befits a man of his age, while I repeatedly recite the 46th Psalm!
